Chris has over 30 years production, exploration and technical experience, developed from extensive exposure at a multi-disciplinary level to large-scale open pit and underground mining operations throughout Africa and South America.
He will be responsible for growing the African profile and presence of Coffey Mining, as well as providing a “One Coffey” approach for our existing and future clients.
Commenting on his appointment, Chris acknowledged Coffey’s strategic focus to grow the business on the African continent where many developing economies are underpinned by largely untapped mineral wealth.

Prior to joining Coffey, Chris was Chairman and Director of Minéro Investment Resources. He has a Bachelor in Science Geology from Rhodes University, RSA and is a Fellow of the Southern African Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
