Coffey employee, Caroline Jarrett nominated for Young Achiever Award at the 2010 NAWIC Awards for Excellence

(12 October 2010) Caroline Jarrett, employee of global professional services consultancy Coffey International Limited (“Coffey”) has been nominated in the “Award to a Young Achiever” category of the 2010 National Association of Women in Construction (Victoria & Tasmania) Award.

Caroline, a Project Manager for Coffey Projects, is being recognised for her work across a range of projects including:

  • The new $14 million four storey CARM2 book depository and new office fitout for CAVAL Ltd, located at Latrobe University’s Research and Development Park, Bundoora
  • 530 Collins Street Foyer and Retail Refurbishment for GPT Pty Ltd in the amount of $19 million
  • Building Education Revolution for the Hume and Eastern Metropolitan regions ($70 million representing 34 schools managed by Caroline).

These project roles have been varied and span all stages of the project lifecycle from master planning, business case development, risk management, design and tendering, contract administration and handover phases.

As part of the BER program, Caroline has managed a total of 74 schools, 34 of which are in the construction phase, each receiving a $2 million building. 

Through structured and fluid communication, Caroline has set the scene for client and consultant team bonding and shared successes, while motivating her project teams with her keen work ethic.

Caroline has worked at Coffey Projects for 4 years and has completed a Bachelor of Planning and Design (Property and Construction) at the University of Melbourne.
