The 13-person business is based in Richmond, United Kingdom, and will merge with Coffey subsidiary Coffey International Development.
TEP provides specialist policy monitoring and evaluation services to the European Commission and has worked with most of the Directorates-General over the past five years.
The business carries out evaluations throughout the policy making cycle, from initial setting of agendas, to decision-making and the review of outcomes across the whole policy spectrum from trade to agriculture to health to education.
Evaluations are used as a critical component by almost all Directorates-General in the European Committee, by other European institutions, by member state public sectors and increasingly by the private sector.
Coffey managing director Roger Olds said: “This is a strategic acquisition which provides access to the European Commission as a new client for Coffey International Development. The services that TEP provide are an important part of our expanding business in Performance Monitoring and Improvement.
