In the past year, we have continued to grow our team and our range of service offerings, responding to a changing market and to our clients’ demand for effective, sustainable solutions to move the industry forward.
We have recently successfully delivered the Diamond Creek Re-signalling Scheme in Victoria and are now working full-speed to deliver the Hurstbridge Line Upgrade Project, one of the largest signalling projects in the Melbourne metropolitan network in recent times. Coffey Rail has made a considerable investment on the development of one of the strongest signalling design and consulting capabilities in the country, and our team is proud to have been trusted by the industry to deliver such an important project.
We have grown and enhanced our specialist capabilities on design and management of level crossing upgrades to help our clients address increasing level crossing safety requirements. Our team of specialists has completed over 150 level crossing designs in the past two years, developing industry best practices that will enable them to concentrate on our clients’ needs and rapidly deploy tailored, cost effective solutions.
Coffey Rail is the rail industry facing arm of Coffey International Limited, an ASX/S&P 300 global professional services consultancy focusing on both physical and social infrastructure. Operating for 50 years, Coffey has over 4,000 people working on projects in more than 80 countries and permanent offices throughout the Americas, Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe and the Middle East.
As a part of Coffey, we continue with our philosophy of hiring the very best people in the industry and combining deep local experience with our commitment to promoting the development of young engineers. Today, Coffey Rail has a growing team of over 50 specialist rail engineers and project managers.
To enable our future growth plans, we have recently added some international experience to the mix, bringing new skills and expertise to the Australian market, including ERTMS (European Rail Traffic Management System) and Cab Signalling. Coffey Rail has also extended its footprint from Victoria and Tasmania to South Australia, New South Wales and New Zealand.
We have come a long way over the last 12 months. We now look forward to developing Coffey Rail by responding to the rapidly evolving needs of the growing rail industry in Australia and helping our clients to substantially improve the country’s rail transport network.
