Coffey proudly supports the Global Poverty Project
(
2 July 2009) The Global Poverty Project (GPP) seeks to educate global audiences about poverty in the developing world. It has developed a 90 minute presentation entitled
1.4 Billion Reasons that will be delivered to over 40 locations around the world in the coming months. Coffey International Development has contributed extensively to the GPP, by providing specialist advice and guidance over the past nine months.
The international launch will take place on Saturday 4 July 2009 in Melbourne, and will then be presented in major cities across Australia. Details regarding the presentation locations and dates are available on the GPP website.
This is a fabulous opportunity to support and better understand the fight to eradicate poverty and how you can improve the lives of world’s poor. We strongly recommend you RSVP online to secure a seat to one of the presentations near you.
The GPP is funded by the United Nations and AusAID and is headed up by Hugh Evans (founder of the Oaktree Foundation and Young Australian of the Year in 2004). It has a host of academic, media and celebrity supporters including actor Hugh Jackman, who is GPP’s official ambassador and has done a promotional filming for the presentation.
