Environmental Geophysics: Challenges and Perspectives
By Robert J. Whiteley

These environmental hazards are increasingly man-made, increasingly voluntary and diffuse in their impact. Environmental geophysics addresses the quantification and monitoring of subsurface hazards, irrespective of their origin.
