In Australia, Coffey Geotechnics has been a key alliance partner in many major Australian infrastructure projects, sharing our geotechnical engineering knowledge to deliver nine alliance projects which include many major highways, an inner city bus link, a seawall enclosing an area of 230ha for port expansion, a bridge that curves around an ocean cliff, and a dam to safely manage future floods.

Alliances are increasingly becoming the preferred way to deliver complex infrastructure projects, where clients, contractors and major consultants work as a team. Coffey Geotechnics is recognised as a leader in alliance delivery methods. By working with the alliance team and our clients in the design and development phase, we are able to create extraordinary outcomes through innovative solutions and shortened construction times.

Our specialist ground engineering teams in geophysics, groundwaterpiling and foundations, roads and pavements, tunnelling and excavations, slopes and retaining structures, unstable ground conditions, and geomorphology, collaborate and work together to deliver the right solution for each client. As a result, we have been honoured with many engineering excellence awards.

A worldwide network of expert geotechnical staff means we can create time and cost-effective solutions suited to the local conditions. We deliver reliable data, relevant analysis and innovative design to reduce our clients’ risk from the initial site investigation, to analysis and design, and construction advice.

The expertise of our specialists is also valued throughout Asia, where we continue to bring our experience to projects in countries such as Singapore, Malaysia, Vietnam, South Korea and Hong Kong.
