• Rotary Club of Adelaide: sponsorship for 20 children to attend the World Festival of Magic for children who are handicapped and carry severe disabilities
• Land Mine Detector: GlobalQuest purchased a land mine detector from Minelab Electronics. Minelab were very generous in donating another detector (two for the price of one!) These detectors went to the Lao People's Democratic Republic where countermining has begun
• Lions Hearing Dogs: sponsorship for 10 children to attend the Children's Christmas Film Festival for children who are terminally ill and have special needs
• Guyana: donation of toys and sports gear for children in Guyana
• Red Cross Jakarta Flood Victims Appeal: donation towards the victims of the Jakarta flooding
• Lions Hearing Dogs: sponsorship for 15 children to attend another film festival
• Callan Connection: donation towards the construction of aluminium wheelchairs for victims of landmines and polio. Callan Connection targets disenfranchised youth who do not fit into mainstream schooling by teaching them skills to construct these wheelchairs. These wheelchairs are provided at no cost to developing countries
